There aren’t many big holiday houses on Fur with room for various families or the extended family. But this big holiday home is perfect for the family weekend, the annual gathering or for some active days with kayaking, fossil collecting, bike rides, etc.

Here you have the opportunity to visit Limfjorden and be together in large numbers without having to wait in line to use the shower or the hotplate. This house contains 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and a total of 5 bedrooms.

Central location on Fur
From the ferry berth there is only a few minutes’ walk or drive to the house. You’re within walking distance from Brugsen, The Fur Museum, tourist information and the “Stenøre yachting harbor”. The house is located at the edge of the city where everything is peace and quiet.

It’s only a four-minute walk to the nearest beach for a nice swim where even the youngest family members can join in. By the yachting harbour, children and adults can engage themselves in crab fishing and crab races. (During the summer, life jackets can be borrowed by the harbour)

This holiday house has plenty of room and a cozy atmosphere. It’s impossible to get bored here – even if the weather is not in your favor. Simply start a game of table tennis, pool, foosball – or dive into the wilderness bath.

Fur is so lovely – fossil collecting, brew house, beach life…
The cozy and beautiful island is the ideal destination for a weekend away from home, the family trip or just a week’s vacation in Denmark.

Fur is full of surprises. The island provides you with loads of possibilities for an active holiday by bicycle or on foot - including the marked routes.

If you’re into intimacy with nature, sights, bathing, fossil collecting, canoeing and kayaking or fishing, there’s a lot to experience. For more information about the island’s many activities and offers, go to: www.visitfur.dk

If the children get to decide…
… they probably also want to take a trip to the flower- and amusement park, Jesperhus, located on the mainland. The area around Fur is packed with sights and can be visited by car within an hour. Shiver and bats in Mønsted and Daugbjerg Limestone Quarry are a must for families with children. We also recommend the medieval vibe at Spøttrup Medieval Castle and a cheese stick from the store by Denmark’s largest organic dairy: Thise Mejeri.
